Most graphic artists tend to create logos that look terrific on the screen and on paper but with very little thought given to all of the other mediums which a logo might find itself on. A 12 colour, portrait orientation logo with lots of fine detail that appears hand drawn will be almost impossibly expensive to put onto anything other than a web page without large changes.
